How long should i go before change fuel filter?

I have an 06 Dodge ram 1500 with the 4.7L .. It has close to 19,000 miles on it. When exactly are you supposed to change the fuel filter. Am i over due? I just dont want my fuel pump going out like i've always been told.

if you change it around ever 25-30 thousand that will be plenty ,and keep good fuel in it you,ll be ok with that one,the owners manual has a real good maintenance record it it ,you can follow it if you want too,good luck.

20000 on a gas motor
Well, I was told every 1,000 to every 1,500 miles. Hope that helps.
Did they start putting fuel filters in the dodges again? Last I knew they were part of the pump on the dodges.
