Does changing the fuel filter improve the fuel economy?

Think of the car like you would your body. The better you take care of it, the better it will run. It definately will not hurt the fuel economy if you think of it that way. Also, keeping the proper amount of air in your tires, reducing extra weight whether it be from your truck or back seat will help.
Does changing the fuel filter improve the fuel economy?
If the fuel filter is restricted, changing the fuel filter CAN improve fuel economy. A restricted filter will not deliver the appropriate amount of fuel to the engine, causing performance issues. Most sources will recommend replacing the fuel filter as a means of preventing excessive strain in the fuel pump that would cause it to wear out faster than normal.
Does changing the fuel filter improve the fuel economy?
No. General maintenance and a light right foot is the key. Also using low viscosity oil will help as there is less drag on the moving parts. The best is Mobil 1 0w-40 fully synthetic, but is is expensive.
YES. and thye are very cheap. well worth it, also new spark plugs, changing the oil and oil filter, in fact a full servcie does a car aworld of good.

also pumping the tyres up to the correct pressure as well.
Yes a clogged fuel filter will mean that you have to put your foot down more to get anywhere.

Get it changed and be surprised by the difference.
