They are also good to change because like with most filters, they get plugged. A plugged fuel filter can, alot of times, keep a car from running. One the most common problems we run into.

If the filter is clogged it will restrict the flow of fuel to your engine. If it isn't getting the amount of fuel it needs then you will lose power and it can sputter. Normally replaced as a precaution.
