How do I change a fuel filter on a 1996 Chevy G30 Van?

How do I do it? The filter is in the rear...close to the tank.



All I need to know is how to stop the fuel flow. The lines are all metal, so my line-clamps won't do any good.

You dont need to clamp anything off. Take the gas cap to loosen any pressure and get a 16mm and 20mm wrench and change it out, just dont smoke when doing it.

there will be pressure so just crack open the fitting slowly.. wear saftey glassses.... no smoking!!.. you could unplug the pump and crank.run the engine to bleed off the pressure
