What the proper way to relieve fuel pressure in a 99 saturn sl2 prior to changing the fuel filter?

I have heard to remove the fuse for the fuel pump and let the car run until it dies because of lack of pressure. I have also heard that i need to release the schrader valve and let it depressurize.. I also know that the saturn fuel filter is extra expensive because it has a built in fuel pressure regulator, but i don%26#039;t think that will help me in the changing process. help?|||put on eye glasses. and use the schrader valve on top side of engine. good luck with your fuel filter.. and make sure you have the disconnect tool.. it%26#039;s a a mass of lines that weave in and out of the back side of the engine. |||Take gas cap off!
