Were is my fuel filter located, and could I change it myself? I havent changed it in 6 years, but getttting low gas mileage, any ideas how easy it would be for me to change it? I have basic mechanical skills.|||it%26#039;s under the hood on teh driver%26#039;s side, I believe its black and has 2 hoses sticking out from the top %26amp; bottom, and is in a hold down.
Drop in a bottle of fuel injector cleaner as well.|||should be near the tank under car along frame/ or near the firewall before the thottle body...they don%26#039;t nessarily need changing maybe just clean out... sand or other junk from tank in it..
